Last night we saw the final gymnastics competition of the year take place at Ellis Guilford Sports Centre.
Gymnasts from Year 3/4 executed routines on the Floor, Body Management and the Vault.
This year we have noticed a big rise in the standard of gymnastics being shown at the competition due to the dedication of the teachers and pupils involved taking part in after school clubs and using specialist coaches.
9 schools brought 13 teams with a special well done to Jubilee school for bringing an all-boys team!
The scores were exceptionally close throughout the competition with some gymnast�s scoring a perfect 10 on the Vault.
A big thank you to the Ellis Guilford Leadership academy for their judging skill and also to all the parents who came down to support their schools they created a great atmosphere with the competition being very enjoyable to all.
The top 3 schools received medals with everyone taking home a School Sport Nottingham certificate.
