With the winter weather taking a firm grip all attention has moved indoors over the last few weeks and the indoor sportshall athletics season kicked off it�s first set of finals with the Year 7 boys and girls events held at Ellis Guilford Sports Centre on 28th November.

4 boys teams and 6 girls teams qualified for the finals after qualification from semi final heats that were held earlier in the month.

Once again the standard of athletic ability was extremely high with some excellent individual performances in the field and outstanding running on the track in both the individual and relay events.

With the lead changing throughout the evenings event Emmanuel took the girls title and Fernwood the boys and both teams go through to the County Finals as part of the Winter School Games on 14th February.
