The year 7/8 boys and girls tennis championships came to an exciting conclusion in the sunshine at Bluecoat School on 29th May.

With a record 15 teams taking part players battled through a total of 325 games of tennis over two consecutive Tuesday nights and displayed some excellent tennis skills.

In the boys competition the strong Trinity pair remained unbeaten in their 9 matches to take the gold medals, with Emmanuel taking silver and Ellis Guilford A the bronze.

The girls championships was en extremely close affair with many of the matches going down to a deciding game. In the end Fernwood took the title, with the Bluecoat B & A pais taking 2nd and 3rd respectively.
