
The Big Dance Schools Pledge is a major part of the Big Dance programme in the East Midlands and takes place on 18 May 2012, the same day that the Olympic Torch arrives in the UK.
Schools are being invited to take part in the world record attempt for 'Largest Dance Routine - Multi-venue' at 1pm on 18 May 2012 where schools around the world go to their halls, playgrounds, playing fields or public spaces and perform the choreography by Wayne McGregor.
TEACHER WORKSHOP - 30th APRIL
Dance4and the Big Dance Hub Partnership is giving you an opportunity to learn the Schools Pledge dance piece ahead of the big day at a teacher workshop being held at Ellis Guilford School on Monday 30th April, 4pm - 5:30pm.
OPEN SCHOOLS EVENT - 18th MAY
We are also inviting schools to an open event on 18th May at Wollaton Park to take part in the Schools Pledge Dance in a mass participation event at 1pm.
