London 2012 World Sport Day, presented by Lloyds TSB in England and Wales and Bank of Scotland in Scotland, is a major part of Get Set goes global. It�s happening on Monday 25 June 2012.

It�s an exciting opportunity for your school/college to celebrate the world�s arrival in the UK for the world�s largest festivals of sport, the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

If your school is in England and Wales, World Sport Day is a great way to kick start your Lloyds TSB National School Sport Week activities as a final celebration before the Games begin.

In Scotland, London 2012 World Sport Day will take place after Bank of Scotland National School Sport Week. This will be an opportunity for schools to host one final Olympic and Paralympic-themed celebration before the summer holidays and celebrate the world�s arrival in the UK for the London 2012 Games. Scottish schools can plan their World Sport Day activity as part of Bank of Scotland National School Sport Week.

And schools in Northern Ireland can celebrate World Sport Day on 25 June 2012 as part of their Get Set journey and a final opportunity to host a celebration before the London 2012 Games.

London 2012 World Sport Day is delivered by the Youth Sport Trust.
