Following the success of last year's badminton programme , in partnership with Nottinghamshire Badminton Association, School Sport Nottingham is offering schools the opportunity to access a junior badminton development programme aimed at year 4/5 pupils.
The programme will provide the following:


* A teacher training workshop on Introducing Badminton at KS2 on Monday 10th October, 1pm - 4pm at Nottingham Trent University.

* 4 x 1 hour teacher support sessions provided by a qualified coach during lesson time following the teacher training workshop.

* Entry to the City Year 4/5 Badminton Festival on 16th December, 1pm - 3pm at Nottingham University Jubilee Sports Centre. This is part of our School Games programme and will have Gold, Silver and Bronze medals to win.


This programme is being offered to schools FREE OF CHARGE. Schools must commit to attending the teacher training and festival.
