Emmanuel Year 8 successfully defended their City title in a thrilling final at the Wildcats Arena on 8th February.

After overcoming Oak Wood and Bluecoat in the semi finals Emmanuel and Nottingham Academy battled it out in an epic final.

The teams had met twice in the league rounds recording a victory a piece and the final proved to be another epic match with teams trading baskets at will.

Emmanuel finally exerted their pressure late in the second half to take the title with a 23-17 victory and will now go through to the County finals in June.

Bluecoat took the bronze medals with a 11 -7 victory over Oak Wood.
