Today saw the KS2 Boccia Championships take place at Ellis Guilford Sports Centre.
Seven schools took part bringing a team of 6 athletes. Teams took part in 24 matches, which were 10 minutes long competing to get their ball closer to the jack.
There was a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of encouragement from teachers, players and support staff.
The play off matches came down to Robin Hood A Team v Bullwell St Marys, William Booth v Ambleside B and Ambleside A Team against Robin Hood B.
Bulwell St Marys held off Robin Hood A Team with a 4-2 win to take the gold medal and a place at the County School Games Day on the 3rd July.
