Trinity Year 7 Rugby Union team completed a unique clean sweep of all 4 City Championships in 2014 / 15 when they secured the year 7 title in thrilling fashion at Moderns Rugby Club last night.

Having battled through against 6 other teams Fernwood and Trinity went head to head in the finals and produced an epic encounter.

The teams went end to end and traded tries until the final whistle blew with scores locked at 15 - 15. the game went into "Golden Try" extra time, and with Fernwood losing a key player through injury Trinity were able to gain field position to force their way over for the winning score.
