Bulwell Academy successfully defended their Indoor Rowing crown with a great team performance at the annual Indoor Rowing Championships held at Fernwood School on 20th January.

5 teams took part in the event where a combination of year 9,10 and 11 boys and girls individually have to row as far as they can in a given time as well as rowing in a relay race.

When the final distances were added up Bulwell were out in front with a total of 13775 metres, Fernwood 2nd with 12876 metres and Nottingham Academy took the bronze medals with 8345 metres.

Bulwell will now go through to the County Finals at The Winter School Games event at the end of February.
