Trinity School secured the title at the first ever Nottingham City Year7/8 Boys Handball Championships on 19th January.
Trinity, NUSA and Nottingham Academy competed for the right to be crowned City Champions and produced an evening of high energy and skilful Handball.
Trinity were hot favourites going into the event following an intensive programme of coaching and teaching compared to their opponents who were very much novices having had only a limited introduction to Handball.
Once Trinity got into their stride they wee able to dominate play against their opponents to take the title, however NUSA and Nottingham Academy improved markedly as the tournament progressed and ended up producing a thrilling overtime game to decide the runner up that eventually went to Nottingham Academy with NUSA taking the bronze medals.
