The Year 3/4 Mini Tennis Red Tournament took place on Thursday 8th May at Nottingham Trent University 1pm- 3pm.

14 Teams took part in this tournament with 140 games of tennis being played in 10 rounds of matches!

The teams were split into 3 groups each playing 4-6 minute matches before quarter finals, semi-finals and a final match playoff took place. Teams qualifying through to these matches were:

Dunkirk, Brocklewood, Middleton, Southwark, St Marys Hyson Green, Sneinton, Old Basford and Whitemoor.
The remaining teams then had the chance to play in �friendly� matches and practice their tennis skills against each other.

The top 3 medal winning teams were:

1st- Middleton
2nd- St Marys Hyson Green
3rd- Old Basford.

Congratulations to Middleton who will now take part in the County School Games Day in July.
