School Sport Nottingham | Year 8 Sportshall Athletics Finals

YEAR 8 SPORTSHALL ATHLETICS FINALS

The finals of the Year 8 Sportshall Athletics Championships were held at Ellis Guilford Sports Centre on 12th February, drawing together the best 5 boys and girls teams from the qualifying heats that were run earlier in the term.

With teams battling it out through the series of track and field events the standard of athletic ability was outstanding and produced close results in both the boys and girls competitions in the medal awards:

Boys :
1st � Fernwwod � 132
2nd � Nottingham Boys High � 125
3rd � Fernwood � 121

Girls:
1st � Fernwood � 135
2nd � Emmanuel � 129
3rd � Bluecoat � 125

The top two boys and girls teams will be competing in the County Finals on 19th March
