TRY SNOWSPORTS WITH NOTTINGHAM CITY COUNCIL

Try Snowsports

Organised by the Sport, Outdoor Learning and Adventure Team at Nottingham City Council

The London 2012 Olympics acted as a showcase for sports and inspired many young people to try new sports. Whilst there may be no Olympics this year, in February 2014 Sochi will host the Winter Olympic Games.

Why not sample some of the sports that will be in action with this exciting taster session we have put together:

55 minute Ski or Snowboard lesson
plus 30 minutes Tobogganing

This is a fantastic opportunity to harness the Olympic spirit and engage Young People in something new. The activities take place at Tamworth Snowdome on real snow under the expert guidance of their instructors and staff.

This programme is supported and endorsed by Snowsport England (The Governing Body for English skiers and snowboarders as recognised by Sport England, the Sport and Recreational Alliance and the British Olympic Association).
