Farnborough School took a clean sweep in the year 9/10 Dodgeball Championships at the Nottingham University Jubilee Sports Centre on 6th December with both thier boys and girls teams walking away with the gold medals.
In an evening of high energy action 8 boys team and 4 girls teams battled it out over 6 courts and provided a series of thrilling and close matches.
In the girls competition Farnborough girls dominated throughout and remained unbeaten as they secured the title with Fernwood taking the runners up spot and Top Valley picking up the bronze medals.
The boys provided some very close matches and after the pool games Fernwood, Farnborough, Bulwell and Hadden Park qualified for the semi finals.
Hadden Park and Farnborough produced the closest game of the evening with extra time required to get a winner with Farnborough just edging through to meet Ferbnwood in the final.
The final was once again a full on, high energy match but Farnborough carried on thier good form to take the City title 3 - 2 with Hadden Park taking the bronze medals.
The 2 farnborough teams will now go through to the County Finals on the Winter Schools Games Day on 14th February.
