The inaugural secondary schools Panathlon Challenge event was held in November at Southglade Sports Centre and provided a feast of sporting activity.

The Panathlon is a multi sport event featuring Basketball, Tennis, Kurling and Dodgeball and schools enter a team of 4 boys and 4 girls with all team members competing in every sport.

3 teams took part, Djanogly, Fernwood and Hadden Park and the level of competition was very high with all teams winning at least one of the individual sports competitions.

After a very close finish Fernwood took the gold medals, Hadden Park silver and Djanogly bronze.

fernwood now go on to represent the City in the County finals at the Winter School Games event on 14th February.
