The Narrowboat Adventure is now running all year round and bookings are being taken for Spring and Summer 2013. This unique opportunity is now open to everyone across the region!

Part of Nottingham City Council�s Adventure Team, two 70ft narrowboats are available to book for educational trips.

Each boat accommodates up to 12 people (max 24) and can be booked for a morning/afternoon (3-4 hours), full day (6 hours) or overnight residential excursion (24 hours)! For grown ups and youth groups, evening trips are also accommodated during the Summer months.

Learn about Nottingham�s geography and waterways, plus take part in team building activities, test children and staff�s boat handling skills and work the locks! Voyage down the River Trent or the Nottingham Canal with our fully qualified skippers, you can even take a trip to Colwick Park Adventure Centre! One of our boats also has wheelchair access.

This is a truly unique experience for young people and a great confidence builder and way of learning new skills in a relaxed environment, away from the classroom. A range of resources, based on Nottingham�s waterways can be provided, however this is an excellent hands on experience. Don�t forget, this trip could be an ideal way to provide experiences targeted by Pupil Premium funding.
