OLD BASFORD TAKE SPORTSHALL GOLD!!

The Year 3/4 Sportshall Athletics Finals took place at Southglade Leisure Centre on Friday 25th May. Nine teams from across the City qualified for the event from a variety of heats run throughout the year. The track events kicked off with the obstacle rely and St Augustines taking an early lead. Welbeck girls and Whitemoor boys scored highly on the balance test and Milford clinched the most points on the soft javelin throw. Burford girls clocked in a very fast time for the 4x1 relay event but once all the scores were in we had a clear winner.
Old Basford took the City Year 3/4 Sportshall Athletics title with a massive score of 356 points.
