School Sport Nottingham | Fernwood Sprint to Athletics Title

FERNWOOD SPRINT TO ATHLETICS TITLE

The inaugural Key Stage 3&4 Inclusive Sports Hall Athletics Championships was held at Nottingham's home of Athletics, Harvey Hadden on 17th May and provided an afternoon of tremendous competition and outstanding athletic ability.

Over 50 students Fernwood, Emmanuel, Nottingham Girls Academy, Ellis Guilford and Oak Field Schools took part in the event that featured a series of field events followed by some track relays.

In a very close competition Fernwood took the gold medals, with Nottingham Girls Academy coming a close second to secure silver and Emmanuel taking bronze.

Fernwood now go forward to represent the City at the County Schools Games Finals on 4th July.
