Emmnauel Year 8 girls basketball team continued their unbeaten run to secure the City Champions title on Monday 6th February.

Going into the finals with an unbeaten run Emmanuel were clear favourites, but they were made to work hard for the gold medals by an enthusiastic and well drilled Ellis Guilford team.

Ellis Guilford worked really hard in the early stages of the game, and early in the second half the scores were locked at 4 - 4, but an late surge from Emmanuel saw them score some great late baskets to take the title with a 12 - 4 victory.

Big Wood took the bronze medals with a 14 - 2 play off win against Top Valley
